Blackjack is one of the most popular casino games amongst the regular casino players. This is because of the very low 'house edge' that the casino has in Blackjack, this is the percentage advantage the casino has over the player - in Blackjack this is typically around 0.3 - 0.7%. However, Blackjack is still a game of skill to get these low percentages and that is where Blackjack basic strategy comes in.

This means knowing when to Hit, Stand, Split, Double, etc to give you the best percentage chance of winning the hand.

Blackjack Tips

• NEVER take Insurance - it actually increases the house advantage by up to 7%.
• Don't bother trying to learn or use card counting with online casinos, as the cards are shuffled after EVERY hand so this wipes out advantge counting gives.
• NEVER Split a pair of 10's or 5's.
• ALWAYS split a pair of Aces.
• ALWAYS split a pair of 8's or 7's if the dealer is showing the same 8 or 7.
